Now, here we are, September 8th in the 2023rd year of our “LORD.” I will start with, and this is the only time you will see me say I in this message (no I in team), the transition from TD Ameritrade to Charles Schwab has finished. We are now breathing comfortably in this office, and hopefully you are too. Here is where we are, and this is what you can expect.
On September 4th, your accounts, their exact values and holdings transitioned to Charles Schwab. We expect now that you will receive one more letter from Schwab with instructions on setting up online viewing access. This is your Stage 3 letter from Charles Schwab…please read it. (And again, don’t hesitate to reach out to our office to assist in the technical arrangements on this.) This, and a new Charles Schwab account number is the only change you will experience.
We can repeat this as this should stand true. We have enacted a first transaction under the Schwab flag this afternoon. (My office assistant was very nervous for this positive transaction.) The unchanging environments include: our team, Rundahl Financial Consultants and Brokers Financial will continue to have eyes on your account now at Charles Schwab, while the transition is finalizing, and now after the move has completed. Their intentions remain the same with growth and loss avoidance. If you have a regular bank distribution or contribution into or out of your respective account, this will continue as planned. Your beneficiaries will remain the same. (Watch your mailbox, we will be having mail from this office that will update not only Primary beneficiaries, but also Contingent beneficiaries.)
In September, you will receive a TD Ameritrade statement online and/or by mail, also a Schwab month end for September 7th though September 30th. In October, your statement will be blue and coming from Charles Schwab. Our office name and contact information currently present on your TD Ameritrade statement will exist exactly the same with Schwab. And the intentions of our investment team remain consistent to growth and loss avoidance.
Hang in there. Summer is coming to an end, our kids and grandkids have entered school, and the house is quieter. This is a good thing. As the official announcement of fall comes in mid-September, you can be confident that we have your best fiduciary interests in mind. As we always end all correspondence, don’t be afraid with this last statement, please don’t hesitate to reach out to our office if you have any questions. We are here to help and do it willingly.
Blessings,
Dan
