As many of you have seen in the mail and in your emails, there is a lot going on with Charles Schwab for you and our office. I must start with a strong apology; I will take the blame for this. Our office should have been in front of this and let you know of the change from TD Ameritrade. Change is scary and we as paternal figures holding your hand through this transition dropped the ball. I am very sorry for that, and I speak for our office in sharing our sincere apology for our short hand on this. Let me give an explanation to what will happen in the coming weeks.
On September 4th, your accounts, their exact values and holdings will start the transition to Charles Schwab. After the 7th, you will receive one more letter from Schwab with instructions on setting up online viewing access. (Don’t hesitate to reach out to our office to assist in the technical arrangements on this.) This and a new Charles Schwab account number is the only change you will experience.
The unchanging environments include: our team, Rundahl Financial Consultants and Brokers Financial will still have eyes on your account now at TD, while the transition is happening, and after the move. Their intentions remain the same with growth and loss avoidance. If you have a regular bank distribution or contribution into or out of your respective account, this will continue as planned. Your beneficiaries will remain the same. In September, you will receive a TD Ameritrade statement online and/or by mail. In October, your statement will be blue and coming from Charles Schwab. Our office name and contact information currently present on your TD Ameritrade statement will exist exactly the same with Schwab. And the intentions of our investment team remain consistent to growth and loss avoidance.
Hang in there. Summer is coming to an end. The State Fair is almost over; fall is approaching. As the official announcement of fall comes in mid-September, you can be confident that we have your best fiduciary interests in mind. As I end all correspondence, please don’t hesitate to reach out to our office if you have any questions. We are here to help and do it willingly.
Blessings,
Dan Rundahl and the Rundahl Financial Consultants team
